Claude began his career in Dallas as a Corporate Associate with the law firm of Akin, Gump, Strauss, Hauer and Feld, LLP. His expertise was developed in merger and acquisitions, venture capital transactions, corporate governance and securities law. He developed a specific focus in Franchise Law for various types of franchise clients, including hospitality and startup franchise programs.
In 2006 Rich joined Robert Karlseng in the formation of Maverick National Services as an attorney and operations officer. He is responsible for various facets of the organization, including licensing, legal compliance and operational controls. His prior expertise in franchising was the perfect backstop for directing the expansion of Maverick National in the regulatory environment of the title insurance industry.
Claude obtained his undergraduate at Muhlenberg College with a B.A. in Economics. He graduated from Loyola University School of Law with a J.D. in 1998.
