During his time practicing law, Liston has gained experience handling commercial real estate transactions as well as commercial litigation. This combination of transactional and litigation experience has allowed him to gain valuable insight into the effort necessary to get  a deal done, as well as recognize the risk management aspects of daily practice. Liston is located in Maverick National Services offices in West Palm Beach.

Liston earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Florida. He earned his law degree from the Southern Methodist University law school where he was honored to serve on the Computer Law Review and Technology Journal.
